I am heading off to Miami in a couple days-just for the weekend- and I had hoped to purchase some adorable new duds for my trip and can't seem to find a thing! I went to J. crew with a gift card for more than $75 and still walked out empty handed. I was hoping to find a Lilly Pulitzer dress to wear to one of the events- we have an arrival casual cocktails on Friday night and a party on Saturday night-but I can't find a thing! I have exhausted most of my usual options without any luck! I did J. Crew, I checked Nordstrom, Bloomingdales website, Banana, Gap, and I can't find a thing! I just want something Florida/Preppy/pink/cute that will make me look fabulous....any ideas!?

Can't find Lilly!!!

Have you checked out TJs and Marshalls? I've found Lilly at both of these on Fullerton recently. Nothing I "had to have" but maybe something you'll love? I just read on another blog that Target has great pink and green right now. I haven't been in a month (yikes!) but you may want to check there too. Ebay's probably out if you're leaving on Friday! Have fun in Miami!
Yep, I saw a ton of Lilly at TJ's and Marshalls recently (last week), that's where I would look.
And can you believe, I saw Lilly at COSTCO last weekend? It was little girls' stuff, though, so I didn't get anything. ;)
Have you tried Talbots. They ahve some Lilly type dresses in the one in Deer Park. I think that there are some in Oak Book as well. The one in Winnetka (not so much). I know that they also have an extra 20% off of some of their items too.
I totally know how you feel- my shopping trip last weekend was so disappointing!

Don't you just love that!? I always have a hard time finding something to wear when I have a specific event to buy for. When I am just shopping in general, I have no problem! Let us know if you find anything cute! Good luck and enjoy your week!
I know not all Macy's stock the same thing - but the Macy's at Northbrook mall used to have a little Lilly store in it - when it was Marshall Field's. Also, Country Classics in Glenview on Waukegan Road carries lots of VV and Lilly. I know these are 2 suburban options and you're in the city...sorry.
There is this really cute seersucker sundress in the Nordstrom junior department. I was thinking about buying it - looks like Vineyard Vines but its a quarter of the price. Have you tried ebay?
