New Coat!!!

I Love my new coat! I think the color is so flattering with my coloring since I am fair, and I think the darker color will be better for when I have to deal with little sticky grubby hands (So I make sense with my coats but not my furniture color choices-oh well- I have never been rational so why start now.)
I bought the small and it looks a little silly now, since I can't really button it, but I didn't want to buy a medium and then have it be too big for the many years of wear that I hope to get out of it--Let's hope this one last longer than my other one! Big Guy bought me this coat in the Trench color last year and I wore it in the fall and then spring came and the coat started to fall apart! The quilted stitches started to unravel and pardon my demand for quality, but that is just not what I would expect from Burberry. Luckily, Big Guy purchased it at Nordstrom, because I had tossed the receipt because I was sure that I loved the coat and it had been a year since we bought it. Nordstrom was so helpful and made the exchange for me. At first I was upset because I wasn't able to exchange for the same coat- The Trench color now comes with goldish-bronzy buttons that I just didn't care for- so after much debate, I decided to get the Peat color and I love it! Although this time I am KEEPING THE RECEIPT!!!!!!

I have been wanting this same coat for years! Maybe I should just break down and buy it this year :) I just love it.

The SAME thing has happened to me numerous times. I think I am on my 3rd Burberry quilted coat. The threads unravel which makes the coat look so junky and unkept. As we speak, the threads are unraveling so I keep snipping them off with scissors. I feel like I can't return the coat for a fourth time (I bought it from Saks and they actually gave me some trouble the last time). The quality is obviously not what it should be for a Burberry coat! I'm glad I am not the only one this has happened to...

The same thing happened to mine too. I took it back to Nordstroms and they happily exchanged it. They said that Burberry was outsourcing their production to China. Obviously the craftsmanship isnt going be the same as the ones made in Italy. I just got mine out for fall and I noticed it was unraveling AGAIN! I took it back to Nordstroms and they happily exchanged it AGAIN. I am on my 3rd coat in 10 months.

What a cute coat! I love buying things at Nordstrom because they stand behind what they sell. I have a pair of Chanel sunglasses from Nordstrom. One of the mother of pearl pieces fell of of the side so I went to Nordstrom to ask for information about having them repaired. Instead of repairing my sunglasses they just gave me another pair. I was so happy not to have to deal with having my old pair fixed.

I hope you have a nice week!

I LOVE this coat!!! I was thinking about buying one off of Ebay or at the outlet, to save a little money, but now I think I will just get it at Nordstrom. How do they run size wise?
